Tisha B’Av Schedule 2024
Tisha B'Av 2024 Schedule Tisha B’Av is a sad day in the history of the Jewish people. On this day, the Holy Temple in Jerusalem was destroyed—twice. The first Holy Temple was destroyed by the Babylonian Empire in 423 BCE. It was a devastating blow to the Jewish people, but we survived and eventually rebuilt the Temple. Then in 69 CE, on the very same day on the Jewish calendar, the Roman Empire destroyed our second Holy Temple.
