(Please note: Shabbat HaGadol this year is Friday – Sat, April 11th – 12th. Most rabbis, however, give their “Shabbat HaGadol” Drasha a week early, because the actual Shabbat is erev Pesach.

Dawn (Firstborn begin fasting): 4:54 AM
Siyum: 9:00 AM at the Shul
Bedikat Chametz (check for the Chametz): after 7:59 PM
Kol Chamirah, declaring unknown Chametz to be null and ownerless, is recited for the first time.
Friday, April 11 – Erev Shabbat
Burn Chametz before 11:50 AM (The second Kol Chamirah, declaring all Chametz to be null and ownerless, is NOT recited until Shabbat morning)
The Sale of Chametz will also take place at this time. Please have all Chametz forms in to the Shul office by Thursday at 3:00 PM. If you were not able to submit yours, please contact the Shul office Friday morning.
Please note: As Erev Pesach falls on Shabbat, all preparations needing to be made for the Seder should ideally be done before Shabbat. You may resume preparations after the conclusion of Shabbat, as allowed by Halacha (restrictions apply, please consult with the Rabbi should you have any questions or concerns.)
