Israeli Orphan’s trip to New York

Israeli Orphan’s trip to New York.

An organization called Chamah/Hagiborim – https://www.chamah.org –
is bringing twelve orphans from the October 7th attack and the subsequent war in Gaza to the USA for an opportunity to enjoy New York, Washington DC, and then Miami. The group will arrive in New York this Sunday, February 16th, and leave for Washington on Wednesday.

The Carlebach Shul is trying to help by asking its members to contribute to pay for a day of fun activities in Manhattan. We hope to cover all expenses of that day’s transportation, food, trips, and, if leftover, a little spending money for the kids.

We envision a day with breakfast in Brooklyn and then a trip to The Edge in New York City, the highest outdoor observation deck in the Western Hemisphere.

That would be followed by a walk on the Highline, lunch in midtown Manhattan, and some time in Dave and Busters. Then dinner and some entertainment. The details may change, but the underlying premise is to give them a great, unique experience while they are in New York.
Please contribute to this and support the orphans.
